The game’s continuity runs up just prior to the Atlantis Season 5 episode "Enemy at the Gate" and up through the SG-1 movie Continuum as much as possible. Any future movies from either series will be worked into the game as best as it’s feasible in order to not miss out on any future revelations or developments. Much of this will depend on the characters we have in the game and how far AU we might become – naturally, there will be some variance between the game and the series.
The current game premise is as follows:
The SGC – As per the Ark of Truth, the Ori have been defeated, though there may be a few small pockets of resistance -- mainly on those worlds where a Prior wasn't in proximity and not affected by the Ark’s influence as a result. And as per Continuum, the Tok'ra have successfully removed the symbiote from the last of the Ba’al clones and Ba’al himself has been disposed of – or has he?
Col. Samantha Carter was transferred from her post as the expedition leader of Atlantis – due to being a victim of her own success – and is now in temporary command of the SGC while Gen. Landry is in Washington, spearheading a new task force. Cameron Mitchell is now a full bird Colonel and is still the team leader of SG-1.
Atlantis – IOA watchdog and bureaucrat Richard Woolsey has been appointed as the new head of the Atlantis expedition. The Wraith are no longer quite the threat they used to be -- thanks mainly to pseudo-allies like Todd, super-villains like Michael, civil war between the Wraith themselves, and their diminished numbers caused by their recent war with the Replicators.
The Replicators have all but been defeated except for eight which are currently floating in outer space, their power levels significantly depleted due to the harsh environment and solar radiation. And despite the claim that one of those Replicators housed the conscious of Dr. Elizabeth Weir -- Atlantis' former expedition leader -- another Elizabeth has been found and recovered from one of Michael's secret experimental labs. As to whether or not this is the real Elizabeth Weir or yet another replicated copy, remains to be seen. Only time will tell.
Michael himself is still very much alive, having miraculously survived the fall from atop the central spire of Atlantis due to nanities Dr. Beckett discovered in the hybrid's system -- nanities which he may or may not have procured from Weir.
Dr. Jennifer Keller is still the current CMO of Atlantis while Dr. Carson Beckett is in charge of a humanitarian relief team, aiding the human inhabitants of the Pegasus galaxy by providing medical and general health care.
Please note: Some of this information may change pending what characters we have in the game, the direction their players may want to take them in, and what occurs in future Stargate movies.
